About

Niamh is a poet and essayist. Her work to date has appeared in various journals and anthologies.

She has performed her poetry at multiple international events and open mics, including Cork International Poetry Festival and Newcastle Poetry Festival. She was an IWC 2021 Young Writer Delegate for the West Cork Literary Festival.

Niamh is a creative writing workshop facilitator. She regularly hosts generative poetry workshops for both children and adults. She has led many extended sessions of workshops to develop the philosophy and the practice of more experienced writers.

Poetry Club 25/26 in Tallaght Library

Six session series of workshops covering history of a form, writing exercises to practice a form, and borrowable books dealing with the form. Course covers Haiku, Sonnet, Pantoum, Sestina, Villanelle, and Epic.
